The team behind Una St Ives has created a health hub available to everyone to stay fit and healthy. Our new lunch menu includes a variety of healthy options, perfect for fuelling before your gym session or recovering after a long swim.
With vegan and vegetarian options also available, a lunch out with friends or family does not mean you will have to work out twice as hard to ‘make up’ for the naughty treats.
All of the options also provide a good source of carbohydrates, protein and good fats, which are essential in your day to day diet.
Carbohydrates help to provide the body and brain with energy and are your body’s preferred energy source. Protein is important for the growth and repair of muscles. Finally good fats help keep your joints and heart strong and healthy, whilst also lowering your blood pressure.
People always talk about keeping their body guessing with the exercise that they do, this should also be true with the food you eat. Giving your body a variety different food will help keep you stimulated.
